For 20 years I lived and worked between Australia, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and Libya. This experience brought me into contact with people across many varied nations and cultures.
I first came across Face Yoga in 2011. This was at a time in my life when I was in deep personal crisis, I was in a toxic relationship which left me feeling lost and not knowing who I really was any more. I had gained weight and felt out of shape. I was living in a constant state of stress, and didn’t know how to get myself out of the mess I found myself in. My self-esteem and confidence were eroded, and to top it off, I could see the effects of my emotional state stamped clearly across my face.
Living far from home and my family in Australia, I didn’t want them to know how unhappy I really was because I knew they would worry about me, so I kept it all in, pretending to the outside world that everything was fine, whilst on the inside I felt like I was slowly dying.
It took for me to reach rock bottom to decide “enough was enough”. Somehow I gathered whatever strength I had within me and took bold, and what seemed frightening steps at the time, to end the relationship and get myself and my life back on track.
I began by slowly re-introducing self-care rituals I had relied on when I was single as a way to bring back the feel good factor into my life, and luckily stumbled upon face yoga which was relatively unknown back then. I was surprised and delighted by the affects the exercises had on the appearance of my face and skin, so much so that in 2017 I decided I would train to become a face yoga instructor.
I truly learnt the value of consistent steps towards where I wanted to go, to positively influence transformation in my life, and came to realise so many women for many different reasons feel as if they too have lost touch with who they are or who they wish to be.
Now in my 60’s, I’m on a mission to support, motivate and inspire women like you who want to change how they feel about themselves, and who want to live like an “Ageless Goddess”. I want to help everyday women connect deeply within and allow their true beauty to be expressed outwardly. I do this by sharing holistic rituals to live agelessly and incorporate teaching face yoga, delving into the vital role of diet and how food affects our emotions, skincare, massage techniques, and the often-overlooked area of mindset and beliefs.
Thank you for being here.
